Rose Kemmy (Baker)
Hi! Welcome to Listen Read Watch! It's been a while since I closed down dessert girl (just over three years ago!!!). But, lately, I've been thinking about starting a new site, a place where people could come together and share the things that inspire them, that excite them, that bring them joy. And, well, I've finally done it! Listen Read Watch is that site! I hope it will become a place where people can connect and discover new ideas. Basically, if you come across something on this site that brightens your day, then I've done my job!
That said, I am SUPER excited that Rose Kemmy from Mountain Bakery is my first collaborator. Rose contributed a post for dessert girl many years ago and she was one of the first people I thought of when I created this site. Why? Because without even trying Rose turned me on to a band that I still listen to all these years later! All she had to do was put the song in this bread tutorial and I was hooked! (The band is Baby Rattlesnakes, btw.) So, I was really curious to see what she would recommend and I was not disappointed. Check out her website here and her awesome inspirations below. ~Erin

Unsurprisingly mostly I read cookbooks! I really love A Modern Way to Eat by Anna Jones. It’s one that I flick through at least once a week for ideas and inspiration.
I also really love a Swedish language cookbook called Bageriet by Petrus Jakobsson.
