Marine Edith Crosta (Artist)

Marine Edith Crosta

One of the reasons that today’s post is so special is that the artist sharing her inspirations was recommended to me by my sister! After seeing one of Marine Edith Crosta’s oil paintings at my sister’s house over the holidays, I immediately went online to look up more of her work and I was completely smitten with what I saw! Marine, who is a French artist living in England, paints lovely seascapes that she then frames beneath rounded glass. The overall effect is quite stunning and gives one the impression of looking through a ship's porthole. And although the the seas outside are often choppy in Marine's paintings, the view is always beautiful.

Watch

Anything on BBC iPlayer Storyville, especially the films of Adam Curtis. His documentaries are brilliant. (It looks like you can only watch these documentaries online if you are in the UK, but some of them are available on YouTube. To watch HyperNormalisation, click here. ~Erin)
