Mary Kysar (Designer)

Over the years, there have been many times when I've considered covering my walls with some statement making, graphic wallpaper. I have yet do it, mostly out of laziness, but today, while writing this post, I started fantasizing about wallpaper all over again! That’s because today’s contributor, Mary Kysar, has created some amazing wallpaper patterns as part of her design collective, Makelike. Mary and her fellow designer, Topher Sinkinso, produce beautiful papers that are illustrated and silk-screened by hand using water-based inks on recyclable paper. Based in Portland, their whimsical designs are often inspired by the natural beauty of the area.
