Ann Wood (Artist)
Spring Saturdays are the best! And what's the perfect way to celebrate a lovely spring day in May? Well, with lots and lots of butterflies and flowers, of course! And that is why I’m so happy to be sharing the work of today’s contributor, Ann Wood! From incredibly detailed petals to ornate wings and feathers, Ann creates paper sculptures that are almost impossible to distinguish from the real thing! It’s so great to see an artist who can take a simple piece of paper and create something so lifelike and beautiful. It’s really the perfect combination of art and life!
If you would like to see more of Ann’s wonderfully handcrafted flora and fauna, you can visit her website or find her on Instagram. She shares her space with her husband, Dean Lucker, an artist who makes wonderful and whimsical wood sculptures. Be sure to check out his work as well! Scroll down to see her inspirations. Thanks, Ann!
