Rebecca Louise Law (Installation Artist)
British installation artist Rebecca Louise Law is someone who knows flowers! The daughter of a gardener, she grew up appreciating and respecting the life cycle of flora, knowing that nature is something that should be cherished and shared. She is a woman who is passionate about the simplicity and beauty of nature and she pours every bit of that passion into her art!
Using natural materials, mostly consisting of flowers, Rebecca creates incredibly detailed installations and sculptures that explore the relationship between nature and man, specifically our notions of beauty and decay. While the flowers in Rebecca’s installations will fade, while the petals will dry out and their fragrance will change, the pieces will remain untouched. This process of change is meant to celebrate the evolution of nature, forcing us to question our ideas about beauty.
